PhD candidate
Kaiserslautern, Germany
Currently, I am completing my PhD on "Consumers' Sovereignty vs Sustainable Consumption - In the Context of the Smart Grid".
Working as a staff member of one of Fraunhofer's smart grid pilot projects sparked my curiosity in sustainable home energy consumption.
Fraunhofer is Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization with 72 institutes throughout Germany.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM) offers advanced open-source algorithms for home load and PV generation monitoring and forecast that can be readily applied by the industry and utilities. In this application area, specific drivers and barriers offer opportunities and challenges for accompanying economical and behavioural research.
